Grief is most often connected to death or tragedy. When someone close to us dies, we grieve because of the loss. We can also experience grief with natural disasters, a terrorist attack, or any significant loss, even a loss of freedom.
Grief is a personal sorrow, and our natural need is to be comforted. Where does this comfort come from? We can look to God and others as sources of comfort.
