Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man receives his glory, and God receives glory through him. Jesus said, “My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and what I told the Jews, I tell you now: Where I am going you cannot come. “I give you a new command: Love each other. You must love each other as I have loved you. All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other.” (John 13:31, 33-35 NCV) What made this commandment new? The love Jesus would show them in His death for all humanity's rescue. How is it different? It is a selfless love, unlike how we love so we receive love. It is a love that requires faith--a trust in and love for God. ©Word-Strong_2013
