Jesus began to teach by the Sea of Galilee. A very large crowd gathered around him, so he got into a boat...while the entire crowd lined the shore. He used stories to teach them. “Listen! A farmer went to plant seed. Some seeds were along the road, and birds came and devoured them. Other seeds were on rocky ground, where there wasn’t much soil. Other seeds were planted among thornbushes [which] choked them...But other seeds were planted on good ground, sprouted, and produced.” He added, “Let the person who has ears listen!” His followers and apostles asked Him about the stories. Do you have "ears to hear?" When our hearts are open and responsive to Jesus, our ears will be opened too. ©Word-Strong_2013
