Six days later, Jesus took Peter, James, and John up on a high mountain. While they watched, Jesus’ appearance was changed. His clothes became shining white, whiter than any person could make them. Then Elijah and Moses appeared to them, talking with Jesus. Peter said to Jesus, “Teacher, it is good that we are here. Let us make three tents—one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” Peter did not know what to say, because he and the others were so frightened. Then a cloud came and covered them, and a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!” (Mark 9:2-7 NCV)
Sometimes we need to just listen. How often are you quiet so you can listen for the God's voice? Don't be so quick to speak, especially when you are afraid. Be still, let Him know what's on your heart, and listen. ©Word-Strong_2014
