It is good and pleasant when God’s people live together in peace! It is like perfumed oil poured on the priest’s head and running down his beard. It ran down Aaron’s beard and on to the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Mount Hermon falling on the hills of Jerusalem. There the Lord gives his blessing of life forever. (Psalms 133:1-3 NCV)
This is God's primary purpose for His people, to be a living witness of Him to the world. But how? To learn to live in peace with one another. Unity. It requires humility and submission of our selfish will to God. Then His peace will flow and settle into our hearts. Then the world around us will see past us and see God's presence, His peace. ©Word-Strong_2013
