Foolish Idols

I know that the Lord is great, that our Lord is greater than all the false gods. The Lord does whatever he wants in heaven or on earth, on the seas or in all the depths of the oceans. The idols of the nations are made of silver and gold. They were made by human hands. They have mouths, but they cannot speak. They have eyes, but they cannot see. They have ears, but they cannot hear. They cannot breathe. Those who make idols end up like them. So does everyone who trusts them. (Psalms 135:5, 6, 15-18 GWT) What or whom do you trust in? Where do you place your confidence? If it is in something earth-bound, it will fail you. If it is in someone other than the Lord, they will let you down. Choose wisely! ©Word-Strong_2013
