Eyes of Compassion

WS-devo_PMS[At] Another time there was a great crowd with Jesus that had nothing to eat. So Jesus called his followers and said, “I feel sorry for these people, because they have already been with me for three days, and they have nothing to eat. If I send them home hungry, they will faint on the way. Some of them live a long way from here.” Jesus’ followers answered, “How can we get enough bread to feed all these people? We are far away from any town.” (Mark 8:1-4 NCV) Jesus sees the need of the people, but His followers only saw limitations. Jesus' eyes of compassion looked beyond the limitations of the circumstances. Authentic faith is personal and spiritual in nature, not abstract nor earthbound. ©Word-Strong_2014
