When Jesus overheard what they said, he told the synagogue leader, “Don’t be afraid! Just believe.” Jesus allowed no one except Peter and the two brothers James and John. When he came into the house, he asked, “Why so much noise and crying? The child isn’t dead.” They laughed at him. Then he took the child’s father, mother, and his three disciples... Jesus took the child’s hand and said to her, “Talitha, koum!” which means, “Little girl, I’m telling you to get up!” The girl got up at once and started to walk. (She was twelve years old.) They were astonished. (Mark 5:1, 36, 37, 39-42 GW) Fear and unbelief kill faith, they are not trust. Jesus brought those who knew and trusted Him to pray. This is the value of genuine faith and fellowship. ©Word-Strong_2014
