“At that time people will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. And he will send his angels and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come.
“Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back—whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.
What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ” (Mark 13:26-27, 32-33, 35, 37 NIV)
Predictions of the Lord's return have come and gone. Doubters and apathy abound. Some await an event before acknowledging the time is short.
Where do you stand with God? Are you waiting till the last minute to get serious with God? Why? What do you think you're going to miss out on?
Or, are you ready for Him to return at any time? If you are, you should have peace, even when you're circumstances are not peaceful. Watch, be ready, and live so others see your confidence in the Lord. ©Word-Strong_2015
